Looking ahead in 2016 – One music game to jam to

There doesn’t seem to be much happening in the music space when it comes to games aside from the waves made by Palmer Luckey’s announcement at the 2015 Game Awards that Rock Band VR would be a thing in 2016 for Oculus.

That leaves this title to fend for itself on stage.

What is it?
Developed by Harmonix (Guitar Hero, Rock Band) who had also created FreQuency and Amplitude for the PS2, this Amplitude is a passion project of theirs that they had wanted to do for a long time. Thanks to a successful Kickstarter in 2014, the music rhythm game boasting 30 original tracks finally saw release on Tuesday.
